Bob’s family is full of artists. His mom was always playing albums by Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, and Frank Sinatra. He began his career “playing” the broom at the age of 10 while watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. Bob then became a roadie/soundman in high school for Silver Sash band. At 16, Bob decided he wanted to play in a band. It’s Us was born in 1971 with a young, enthusiastic drummer, Jeff Sipe. Bob joined Mudlark in the late 1970s, then played in Fill In the Void’s, The Catch, Change Order, and Back-N-Time, returning to Mudlark in 2006. Bob has also backed Rick Derringer, Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, Edgar Winter, Orleans, Tom Principato, Bill Kerchen, Linwood Taylor, and Steve Smith and the Nakeds, to name just a few. Currently, you can find Bob on the local music scene either as a solo artist or playing in bands.
